 Brendon Ogmundson (Chief Economist, BC Real Estate Association) will be providing a current snapshot of property prices and trends in the Fernie and Kootenay area.
12:25pm – Presentation from Whistler Housing Authority (General Manager - Marla Zucht)
Marla Zucht (General Manager, Whistler Housing Austhority) will be providing an overview of how the Whistler Housing Authority has been able to help address staff housing shortages and their learnings in the busy resort community of Whistler, BC.
12:40pm – Presentation from City of Fernie (CAO of the City of Fernie - Michael Boronowski)
 Michael Boronowski (Chief Administrative Officer, City of Fernie) will be presenting the new Fernie Housing Needs Report and its findings.
12:55pm – Presentation from Fernie Family Housing Society (Gayle Vallance)
Gayle Vallance (Fernie Family Housing Society) will be giving an update on the new affordable housing project approaching completion in Fernie, what they have learned doing the project and next steps for filling the new units.
